Principles for Responsible Investment

Sustainability has gained in importance both socially and politically. As a family office that thinks and acts across generations, it has been a matter for AM ALPHA to assume responsibility for sustainability since the company was founded in 2006. The focus here is on acting responsibly towards all stakeholders, the environment, and our society.

The PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment) is the world's leading initiative for responsible investment. Its objectives are to improve understanding of investments' environmental, social and governance (ESG) impact and to support the international member network in integrating these factors into investment decisions. More than 4,000 institutional investors have signed up for the initiative since its launch in 2006.

AM ALPHA is also one of the signatories. Through our official commitment to the six principles of the UN PRI, we now express our attitude publicly. We are committed to focussing our investments on sustainability, encouraging other market participants to invest sustainably and reporting on our sustainability activities.

In line with the six principles of the PRI, we will:

... incorporate ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes.
... be active shareholders and consider ESG issues in our investment policies and practices.
... encourage companies and entities in which we invest to disclose ESG issues appropriately.
... drive acceptance and implementation of the Principles in the investment industry.
... work together to increase our effectiveness in implementing the Principles.
... report on our activities and progress in implementing the Principles.
