What does your daily work as a Marketing Manager at AM ALPHA look like?
Carolin Fraas: As a Marketing Manager, I am responsible for a broad spectrum of tasks – from strategic brand management to internal and external channel management, as well as our overall public presence.
What I find particularly exciting is working with our international team. The variety of perspectives, cultures, and corresponding communication preferences means that every workday has its unique dynamics. I have to carefully consider how we shape our messages to ensure they are globally consistent while remaining locally relevant.
What role does digitalisation play in AM ALPHA's marketing?
Carolin Fraas: Digitalisation is an essential and indispensable tool in our daily work. It is key to reaching all our stakeholders in the most targeted way possible and building long-term relationships.
We rely heavily on digital platforms such as our website and LinkedIn presence to achieve this. Here, we aim to showcase our projects and expertise, the people behind AM ALPHA, and our culture and values. Internally, we also utilise digital technologies, such as our SharePoint intranet. This allows for real-time news and information sharing, no matter what time zone a team is in, ensuring seamless collaboration across the globe.

What aspects of AM ALPHA's corporate culture do you particularly appreciate?
Carolin Fraas: What immediately comes to mind? A genuinely hands-on mentality! At AM ALPHA, you are always directly involved in projects.
I also greatly appreciate the company’s active social engagement. For instance, we visited the WaldLife initiative at our last Family Day, which AM ALPHA supports. It was a truly fascinating experience – we had the opportunity to learn firsthand from local foresters about the positive impact of forests and their wildlife on the climate.
