In order to continue our success story, for our Munich office we are looking to recruit a:
Investment Manager Real Estate (m/f/d)
Your profile:
- A university degree, preferably specialising in property management, business administration or economics, or a technical degree supplemented by further training in economics
- Several years’ professional experience (at least 5 years) in property investment management, ideally with a background in private equity
- In-depth knowledge of financial modelling
- Transaction experience in European markets
- Excellent analytical and conceptual understanding (analytical methods, processes, projects) as well as strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently, characterised by an entrepreneurial approach
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working as part of a team
- Very good written and spoken German and English
You will:
- Development and implementation of investment strategies in the Core Plus and Value-Add segments, as well as the identification and acquisition of attractive investment opportunities in European property markets
- Analysis and valuation of property investments and project developments as part of acquisition processes
- Preparation of cash flow models, business and financial plans, as well as sensitivity and scenario analyses to support well-founded investment decisions
- Preparation and presentation of investment cases, as well as the drafting of decision papers for the Investment Committee
- Contribution to the international structuring and financing of investments, as well as support for financing processes with banks and financing partners
- Independently managing and coordinating the entire due diligence process, including supporting negotiations on purchase agreements
- Defining, managing and implementing post-closing measures to ensure the successful integration and further development of investments
- Working closely with Asset Management to implement business plans and achieve sustainable value growth for the portfolio
